History

CCS Consulting was founded in 2013 in Durban, South Africa.

CCS is an environmental fluid dynamics consultancy specialising in coastal and estuarine dynamics. CCS focuses on providing specialised skills to engineering and environmental consultancies.

CCS has it’s roots in academia and maintains strong ties with South African and international research institutes. With a strong research base CCS is capable of providing novel and innovative solutions.

Coastal Engineering and Environmental Fluid Dynamics Specialists

CCS is a team of highly specialised engineers capable of providing innovative solutions for a variety of coastal engineering and fluid dynamic problems.

Our engineering solutions are developed from:

  • Research – understanding new problems

  • Data Analysis – statistical analysis of historical records

  • Site Investigation – physical investigation and measurement of the problem

  • Design – design of coastal protection and infrastructure

  • Numerical Modelling – numerical modelling of complex hydrodynamic processes

Meet Our Team

CCS’s collection of skills range from numerical and statistical modelling of complex processes to construction method consultation.
